I got myself into a project. its a '93 325i. I got it to the point where it is reliable and drives well, and it does this shit to me. I haven't even begun to do all the cosmetic fixes it needs.

that's a hell of a long ride for the Montego. I don't take it on the highway, it only has a 3 speed trans so highway speeds are tough on it.
Also it says that was 7/5....so last saturday?
When are you heading up to Lansing and where do you live?
cruise starts at noon, I'm sure people will be up there by 10 though. You could pop over to the cruise before you head up to Lansing. (make a stop early in East Lansing to yell out GO GREEN for me)

From what I hear the C&C is the first Saturday of every month. I live in Howell, about half-way between Detroit and Lansing. I actually work in East Lansing normally, but this week (until Thursday) I'm in downtown Detroit (so missing the show is a bigger slap to the face).
I'm thinking about heading up to Lansing this weekend. Probably after I mow the lawn (~2 hour job). So probably at 1 o'clock I'll leave for the store.
And I'll yell "go green" for you, don't worry. I'll past the campus on 127, :)

There's a bunch of places to stop for food, live music, "car show" style parking, etc.
You can ride in traffic in front of or behind or next to an awesomely loud Montego for a bit too!

After more research, it seems a cracked old windshield cowl (which mine is) exacerbates the problem of water getting in the DME box. I think I found my problem. I'll see if I can get my brother to come with me. I think he is going to be in town this weekend.
